Description

Very smart, snap catch, easy to install,  no rivets or screws needed.

Set of 3 pieces in each set

Top – Snap catch with trigger release button, round bottom

Base – round shaped with bar to catch the trigger button

2 legs to hold on to the backing plate

Backing plate – thin metal shield shape to fold the legs over

To close – Just push the trigger snap button part into the loop on the base

To open – press the button on the catch and pull the flap to release

To fit to your bag or clutch wallet

The top part clamps to the edge of the top flap or lid of the bag or case

Squeeze closed with hammer or pliers, protecting the surface of the catch

The base has legs which slot through the bag, purse,
and need bending over the backing plate.

The legs will need 2 x 3mm slots cut to insert them.

Attaching
The top – place leather or material between the upper parts

gently tap together with hammer or press – cover the catch with soft material
to protect the finish on the surface –
test it is secure.

The base – position to match the top part on the work, place the base part into the top

With the legs straight – when it is in the right place

Press gently so the legs mark the work material – leather, or
mark with pencil

Make slots for the base with chisel or sharpened straight blade
screw driver – approx 3mm wide

Push the legs into the slots

Turn the work over and place the back plate between the legs and

Fold the legs over the backing plate either with your fingers or
the handle of the chisel or similar tool.

Check the legs are in position and smooth

Bottom:  30mm round x 10.7mm deep (excl legs)
