Description
Internal Bag Flex Spring Clasp
blue black flex frame with antique brass ends, and with looped pins
Description:
Just like the traditional doctor’s bag, the flex spring clasp is a closure mechanism for bags
This Flex spring clasp is heavier duty, and larger than the flex frames,
Often needing two hands to open, ideally suited for bags 25cm wide
to hold tablets, iPads, or small instruments
Flex spring clasp is made from sprung steel, is light weight,
it is reinforced at both ends (inside) and in the centre so it flexes at the two places between the reinforced sections on each side
When the sides are squeezed together it snaps shut
open by pulling apart in the centre
to add or remove the contents
Each flex spring frame has brass caps with steel pins holding them together, comes with the loop pins and nuts in place,
To insert into your ready made bag
undo one of the end loop pin nut, remove the pin
Gently ease the two sides through the tunnels at the top of the bag
Once through place the open ends of the flex spring clasp together to reinsert the pin and screw the nut back on to the threaded end of the looped pin. Secure nuts with pliers to make sure they are secure.
A thin strap can be attached to the loops to carry over the shoulder
