Texan Board

for reinforcing A4 sized sheet Qty 1

This board is a thin, light weight, non woven stiffener
ideal for stiffening covers of handmade books or albums,
used for firming the backs of hand bags and purses
when using soft leathers or fabrics,
even laptop cases, when using lighter weight fabrics.
This board is sometimes used in between the layers of shoe or sandal soles,
although there are thicker forms of this board if required, see other listings.

Available in 1.25mm (0.05inch) thickness

Can be machine stitched, use heavy duty needles
or it can be hand sewn using the 2 needle method – just takes a little longer.
Can also be glued, and stitched or tacked depending on the finished purpose of the project
A4 sheet size
This is larger enough to cover an A5 book both sides,
or the back flap of a handbag.

The Texan is been impregnated with a mold/mildew prevention treatment,
For stiffer structures you could glue the two pieces together.

Note: Texan or Bontex or Excalibur Board has a grain so use only in the direction of the arrows.
